Apple struggles with production problems for his own MacBook Pros, with delivery dates shifted to June, according to the Bloomberg report. As a result of China’s zero-tolerance policy for the COVID-19 epidemic, more than 30 Taiwanese companies, including the main laptop manufacturer Quanta, have suspended production in China, the news report said.

For top-notch Apple MacBook ProDelivery dates are not estimated until June 16, while shipments of the weaker 14-inch MacBook Pro configurations are delayed until the end of May, Bloomberg said. Most of the other Apple laptop models such as 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air have not been affected and still offer same-day delivery or delivery within a few days of placing the order, the report said. So far, no delays in iPhone shipments have been reported.

The latest MacBook Pros, which range in price from $ 999 to $ 6,000 or more, are powered by the enhanced Apple M1, M1 Pro, and M1 Max chips.

Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment on production delays.
