Backup Apple TV Plus, Store, Maps, Music and other services after power off


On Monday morning, a crash caused many Apple services to shut down.

Several of Apple’s web services – including the App Store, Apple Music, and Apple Maps – were turned off for some people on Monday morning. The company confirmed the problems on its own page with the status of the applicationwith problems starting at around 9:30 AM PT and the last being dealt with around 11:40 AM PT.

Some crash notifications say that people “may have occasional problems with this service” while others say that the service may be “slow or unavailable”.

Apple services with problems include App Store, Apple Arcade, Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, iCloud (account and login, calendar, disk, keychain, email and web apps), iOS device activation, Find My, Maps ( screen, Navigation, Search & Traffic), AppleCare on device, iTunes Store, Fitness Plus, podcasts and radio.

Some of Apple’s corporate and retail systems have also been hit with the crash, causing problems with remote working and things like picking up devices in stores, according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.

Apple did not respond to a request for comment.
