Rumor has it that Apple will launch new versions of its Macbook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro later this year, according to Sunday newsletter from Mark Gurman in Bloomberg. However, the updated models of the higher-end 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are not expected to appear until 2023.

There were originally rumors that the MacBook Air would debut in late 2021 or early 2022, but Gurman is now speculating that the redesigned MacBook Air will arrive in the second half of this year. Apple’s upcoming laptop is said to also have an updated design, MagSafe and M2 layout.

As for the MacBook Pro, apparently the new 13-inch model is also expected to have an M2 chip. The laptop can arrive already in June for Apple’s WWDC.

Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
