Streaming services will be canceled in July 2022.

Viewers are ready to digest Stranger Things 4 part 2 on Netflix, making the service mandatory in July. There was still some time before House of the Dragon it’s available for viewing on HBO Max, but does that mean you should cancel it for now? You may be wondering if cancel the streaming service because of the content that is currently available and how much you pay out of your own pocket each month. In these difficult financial timesI would like to propose one strategy: Whip like ice cream.

What does it mean? Subscribe, cancel, use another service, then subscribe again with your favorites rotation. The upside is that you can save money when Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO max. and others don’t have the content you want to watch right now. Just remember to turn off auto-renew for monthly subscriptions. Churning may not be an option if you’re sharing your accounts with people outside of your household, but if you can reach agreement with your streaming partners, do so.

To give you an edge early this summer, here are my recommendations for streamers to keep or cancel for July, based on new TV shows and movies (I didn’t consider Sports and live TV streaming services). Of course, your tastes may be different, but if nothing else, I encourage you to at least consider the concept of churning your savings. It’s easier than you think.

Additionally, five new video games were released on the platform in July.

Disney Plus: Because Ms. Marvel ends its first season on July 13, so it’s a good time to go crazy. The same goes for the first season of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Baymax !, which all six episodes were released on June 29.

July is the best time to see Kamala Khan in every episode of Ms. Marvel on Disney Plus.

Hulu: Hulu is in the bubble for July, so it’s up to you to decide if you want to do it. You can watch Season 2 Murders Only all month until August, or wait until next month to get hit by it. Other releases coming in July include The Princess (July 1), Bachelorette season 19 premieres (July 12), What We Do in the Shadows Season 4 (July 13), Grown-ish Season 5 (July 21) and Bob’s Burgers. Movie (also on HBO Max on July 12).

Starz: Subscribe to Starz for $ 3 per month for six months if you are a new or returning customer. P-Valley has 10 episodes in season 2, most of which aired in July. Viewers can end Elizabeth and Becoming Season 1 Spider-Man: No way home finally lands on July 15.

The best video: If you already have this service as part of your Prime membership, you might as well keep it. The boys airs the third season finale on July 8. Chris Pratt’s new movie, The Terminal List, falls on July 1, and House of Gucci kicks off on July 2. The best video Subscription? You can cancel if you don’t like The Boys.

Suspend these streamers for July

HBO max.: HBO Max has some notable drops in July, but waiting until August to see everything works fine too. Bob’s Burgers will hit the platform on July 12, but streaming on Hulu costs less. Issy Rae’s new series, Rap Sh! T, will debut on July 21. Harley Quinn – including James Gunn’s performance this season – returns for Season 3 on July 28. Pretty Little Liars’s new spinoff, Original Sin, also premieres on July 28. With so many late-July releases, you can hold off until the next month or September to hit HBO Max for a binge-binge session.

Harley Quinn fans can wait until August to begin broadcasting 10 new episodes of the third season.

HBO max.

Apple TV Plus: Ted Lasso is gone. Or, you can wait until August to binge on each episode of For All Mankind, as Season 3 ends August 12.

Peacock: If you are not playing to watch Love Island USA (Jul 19), The Bad Guys (Jul 1), any John Wick movie or Tour de France, we suggest cancellation of Peacock or at least a downgrade for a free account for July.

The most important plus: Unless you are Big Brother or South Park fan, you can come out Paramount Plus from the July list. Big Brother season 24 ends on July 6, and South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2 arrives on July 13 Star Trek: Strange new worlds ends its 10-episode series of the first season on July 7.

Save more money while waiting for things

Unless you’re someone who routinely gets FOMO, a smart method is to wait until most or all episodes of your favorite show land on the platform. That way, instead of paying for the service for two or three months to cover a 6 to 10 week show, you can make up for it by subscribing for one month. And then repeat the cycle again.

For example, this season HBO Max has 10 episodes of Harley Quinn. The finale airs in September, so all episodes will be available for streaming during that time. Although the premiere will take place on July 28 and will last until August, why pay for both months when you can wait to see it in full in September?

Think about how much you pay per month for each streaming service you own and count. Netflix costs $ 10 to $ 20, Disney Plus costs $ 3 to $ 8 depending on packages, HBO Max costs $ 10 or $ 15, Hulu starts at $ 7, and Starz starts at $ 9. The others have a base rate of $ 5 per month. If you decide to unsubscribe, set a calendar reminder to notify you when it’s time to resubscribe or cancel. See you in August to see the next stream lineup.
